Aguilar offers two series of amplifier heads. The DB series is a 750-watts hybrid. The AG series includes two models: the AG 500, a 500-watts solid state amplifier head with two channels, and the AG 500 SC, a 500-watts solid state amplifier head.

Ampeg Ampeg: Ampeg manufactures three series of amplifier heads: the Classic Series, the Pro Series, and the B Series. The Classic Series includes the SVT-VR, a vintage reissue of an early 1970s “Blue-Line” SVT head; the SVT-CL, an all-tube bass amp that delivers 300-watts of unsurpassed quality, reliability, and tonal flexibility; and the SVT-450H, which produces a warm, tube-like performance at extreme volume levels. The Pro Series heads feature tube preamps and expanded EQ capabilities. Models include the SVT-2PRO, SVT-3PRO, SVT-4PRO, SVT-6PRO, and SVT-8PRO. The B Series includes the B-4R, which emphasizes power and tone; the B-2RE, which includes the tone-sculpting Ultra Mid control; and the B-1RE, which is similar to the B-2RE, except it doesn't include Graphic EQ. The B Series amps feature optocoupler limiters, effects loops, and XLR balanced line outputs.Website: Ampeg

Ashdown Engineering Ashdown Engineering: Ashdown Engineering manufactures Classic, ABM EVO III, MAG EVO II, and Ashdown Lab bass heads. The Classic heads include the Klystron 1000 and the Klystron 500, and they both include three rotary tone controls, a built-in dual band compressor, a 4-way footswitch, and a single input that is switchable for passive and active instruments. The ABM EVO II series includes three models: ABM 500 EVO III, ABM 500 RC EVO III, and ABM 900 EVO III, all of which include an on-board compressor, a sub-harmonic level control, and the Ashdown sub-harmonic generator which precisely tracks the main signal and reproduces it an octave lower. The MAG EVO II heads include the MAG 300H EVO II and the MAG 600H EVO II. Both offer the Ashdown sub-harmonic generator, front panel push switches for bright and deep settings, and a built-in compressor with precision sonic control. The Ashdown Lab series includes three models: the Little Giant 1000 and Little Giant 350, compact bass amp heads that emphasize power, tone and features, and the MK500, a 575-watts powerhouse that was created in conjunction with Mark King. Carvin Carvin: Carvin offers three models of bass amplifier heads. The B1500 Mono Block head delivers 700-watts at 8 ohms, 1250-watts at 4 ohms and 1900-watts at 2 ohms. It also offers six tone controls and front panel and foot switchable mute and effects loop switches. The BX1200 Dual Mono and the BX600 Mono Block heads offer rich tone generated from discrete Class A preamps, extensive equalization features, and 5-band tone control sections featuring three semi-parametric EQ controls and high and low shelving controls. Epifani Epifani: Epifani's UL series of bass heads were designed to emphasize power, precision and clarity. The models include the UL-502 and the UL-902C. Both models offer class D digital amplifiers, channel switching, effects loops, balanced DI out, pre-amp out, silent tuning mute, selectable voltage and pedal control inputs. The UL-502 is a 2 channel, 600-watt head, and the UL-902C is a  2 channel, 1800-watt head.Website: Epifani

Fender Bassman Fender Bassman: Fender Bassman manufactures the Bassman® 250 HD Head, which delivers 250-watts at 4 ohms. Its high-quality XLR output is great for recording and amplifying live signals. It also includes two 1⁄4” speaker outputs and one Speakon® speaker output.Website: Fender Bassman

Gallien Krueger Gallien Krueger: Gallien Krueger manufactures three series of heads: the Artist Series, MicroBass Series, and Backline Series. The Artist Series includes the 2001RB, which features a bi-amp system and dual 540W woofer amps; the 700RB-II, a compact head with EQ and voicing controls; the 1001RB-II, which has the same feature set as the 700RB-II but boosts power output to a level for larger venues; the 400RB-IV, a 280-watts entry level head; and the 800RB, which features bi-amped power and custom voicing filters. The MicroBass Series offers two models: the MB150E-III and the MB150S-III, both 100-watts compact heads.  The Backline Series also offers two models: the Backline 600 and the Backline 250, which offer foot switchable clean, over-drive channels, full four band active EQ, and adjustable contour at an affordable price.Website: Gallien Krueger

Hartke Hartke: Hartke offers three models of bass amplifier heads. The first, HA2500, offers 250-watts to drive small to mid-sized bass rigs. The HA3500a model includes selectable passive or active input, tube and solid-state pre-amps, variable compression, 10-band graphic EQ, high/low frequency contour control and a direct XLR output. Hartke's HA5500 has all the features of the classic 3500 with an added 500-watt power plant.Website: Hartke

Kustom Kustom: Kustom manufactures Groove Bass heads and Deep End heads. The Groove Bass line includes the Groove 1300 HD, which features 1200-watts, the 9-Band Active EQ, and bass, mid, and high controls with pull-shift functions, and the Groove 600 HD, which features 600 RMS watts and provides the same features as the Groove Bass 1300 HD with the exception of the EQ shift switches. The Deep End DE 200 HD is a fan-cooled, 200-watt RMS amplifier with the 6-Band Active EQ, preamp gain and volume controls, a built-in limiter, an effects loop with send and return jacks, and a line out jack. Mesa Boogie Mesa Boogie: Mesa Boogie's line of bass amplifier heads includes five models. The Big Block 750  is a 750-watts head with an all-tube tone stack and overdrive, twin fans, and a balanced XLR Direct Out. The Big Block Titan V-12 is a bigger block version of the Big Block 750 and includes dual inputs, all-tube preamps, and a wide-band harness of treble, mid, and bass controls. The Bass 400+ offers traditional style rotary tone controls, a seven-band Graphic Equalizer, and no less than twelve fan-cooled 6L6 output tubes that deliver 500-watts of transient power peaks with cool reliability. The M-Pulse 600 is available in a 600-watt rack version and combines the best of musical old-world tube technology with modern high-power portability. SWR SWR: SWR manufactures two series of bass heads. The Classic Series includes three models, the first being the SM-1500, which has two separate power modules providing 1,500-watts, an onboard tube-driven compressor, and an array of tone controls. The SM-500 is a direct descendant of the original SWR amplifier, the world-famous SM-400. The SM-500 features the original SWR tube preamp and a four-band graphic/semi-parametric EQ. The last model, the SM-900, offers a sweet, warm SWR tube preamp tone with two power modules for the option of 900-watts in bridged mode. It also features dual three-band semi-parametric EQs that can be combined into a single six-band configuration. The WorkingPro Series offers two models: the WorkingPro 700, with a classic SWR solid-state preamp, a rock-solid, mono-block, 700-watt solid-state power amp, and professionally featured XLR output and Speakon® speaker outputs, and the WorkingPro 400, with the same feature set as the WorkingPro 700, but with 400-watts.Website: SWR

Thunderfunk Thunderfunk: Thunderfunk's TFB550-B and TFB750-A bass heads are quieter than other amps and feature film caps in the preamp's signal chain and SS/tube switches that allow you to choose between a super clean solid-state tone for slap and double bass playing and a gutty, warm, tube-tone for all the rest. They are perfect for studio or TV use.Website: Thunderfunk

Warwick Warwick: Warwick manufactures four different lines of bass heads. The first, ProFet, includes two models, the ProFet 3.2, with 300-watts of power and a parametric EQ that is divided into four tone controls and includes deep and bright switches, and the ProFet 5.1, the bigger, more powerful brother of the ProFet 3.2 with 500-watts of power. The X-treme line includes the X-treme 10.1, which has 1000-watts of MOSFET power and a switchable and adjustable onboard compressor, and the X-treme 5.1, which has a 500-watt power amp and many of the same features that the X-treme 10.1 has. The TubePath line includes the 500-watt TubePath 5.1 and the 1,000-watt TubePath 10.1. Both models include an all-tube preamp, adjustable contour, switches for low and high boosts, and rotary controls for bass, treble, and two parametric mids with frequency shift buttons. Hellborg is the last line of bass heads, and it includes the Hellborg Preamp and Hellborg Power Amps. The Hellborg Preamp has a classic 70's design and provides bassists with a high-definition sonic experience that is both warm and well defined. The Hellborg Power Amps use a powerful output transformer at the speaker output of a solid state power amplifier to achieve the warmth and presence of a tube amp while maintaining the clarity of a solid state design. There are two varieties of power amps: the 250-watt Hellborg Mono Power 250, and the 500-watt Hellborg Mono Power 500.Website: Warwick
